Welcome to Hamago Hotel. By making a reservation with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Reservations

• A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of 50% advance payment.

• The remaining 50% balance must be paid before the check-in date.

• Room reservations are subject to availability.
   

2. Room Rates

• All room tariffs are charged per room, per night.

• Applicable government taxes, if any, will be charged additionally unless otherwise stated.
   

3. Check-in & Check-out

• Check-in: 12:00 PM

• Check-out: 9:00 AM

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

4. Child Policy

• Children below 5 years stay complimentary when sharing existing bedding with their parents.

• An extra bed is mandatory for children above 10 years and for all additional adults. Extra bed charges apply.
   

5. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation made more than 15 days before arrival will incur a 50% cancellation charge on the total booking amount. This includes the 25% non-refundable and non-transferable advance payment.

• No refund will be provided for cancellations made within 7 days of the arrival date or for no-shows.

6. Guest Responsibilities
Guests are expected to respect the property, staff, and other guests. Any damage caused to hotel property may result in additional charges.

7. Hotel Rights
Hamago Hotel reserves the right to refuse accommodation to any guest whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or unlawful.

8. Liability
While reasonable care is taken to ensure the safety of guests and their belongings, the hotel shall not be liable for loss, theft, damage, or injury arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

9. Changes
Hamago Hotel reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

 

Additional Terms & Conditions

High-Altitude Advisory

Hamago Hotel is located in Leh, Ladakh, at an altitude of approximately 3,500 metres (11,500 feet). Guests are advised to acclimatize adequately upon arrival. The hotel shall not be held responsible for any health issues related to high altitude. Guests with pre-existing medical conditions are encouraged to consult their physician before travelling.

Government Identification

In accordance with Indian law, all guests must present a valid government-issued photo identification at the time of check-in.

• Indian Nationals: Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving Licence, or Voter ID.

• Foreign Nationals: Valid Passport, Visa, and any other documents required by the Government of India.

The hotel reserves the right to refuse accommodation if valid identification is not provided.

Weather & Force Majeure

Leh and the surrounding Himalayan region are subject to weather-related disruptions, including snowfall, landslides, road closures, flight delays, and other unforeseen circumstances.

Hamago Hotel shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or changes in travel plans caused by events beyond its reasonable control. Any amendment to reservations in such circumstances will be considered at the hotel's discretion, subject to availability.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside guest rooms and indoor public areas. Designated outdoor smoking areas may be provided. A cleaning or restoration charge may be applied if guests smoke inside the rooms.

Alcohol Policy

Consumption of alcohol is permitted only in accordance with applicable laws of the Union Territory of Ladakh. Guests must consume alcohol responsibly and avoid disturbing other guests.

Pet Policy

Unless specifically stated otherwise, pets are not permitted within the hotel premises.

Damage to Property

Guests are responsible for any loss or damage caused to hotel property during their stay. The hotel reserves the right to recover the cost of repair or replacement.

Visitor Policy

For the comfort and security of all guests, visitors may be required to register at reception. The hotel reserves the right to restrict visitor access after designated hours.

Parking

Complimentary parking is provided subject to availability. Vehicles are parked at the owner's risk, and Hamago Hotel is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage.

Personal Belongings

Guests are requested to keep valuables secure. While every reasonable precaution is taken, Hamago Hotel shall not be responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.

Sustainable Tourism

Hamago Hotel encourages responsible tourism by promoting water conservation, responsible waste disposal, and respect for the local culture, traditions, and environment of Ladakh. Guests are requested to help us preserve the fragile Himalayan ecosystem.

Quiet Hours

To ensure a peaceful environment for all guests, quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Guests are requested to keep noise to a minimum during these hours.

Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from bookings or stays at Hamago Hotel shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Leh, Union Territory of Ladakh.
